Kip Protective tapes are ideal for masking plastering, stucco work and building protection work both indoors and outdoors. They are made of PVC or PE carriers. PVC is resistant to water, acids, alkalis, alcohol, oils, petrol and salt water and is hardly affected by sunlight. It therefore retains its shape even when exposed to temperature. PE is milky white and elastic, insensitive to water as well as solvents, acids and alkalis. Its high-quality release liner makes it easy to unroll without warping, which means that even straight edges can be taped well. The PVC tape should only be used on plastic substrates after prior test bonding and with great care. Kip PE Protective tapes are suitable for such substrates due to their resistance to plasticizers. The cross-grooved premium PVC tape with rubber adhesive enables easy removal from smooth surfaces such as wood (painted/primed), aluminum or glass. It is resistant up to 60°C.
