Very dimensionally stable, even when exposed to heat and cold. Versatile in use. Ideal for masking plastering, stucco work and building protection work indoors and outdoors. Resistant to water, solvents, acids and alkalis up to 60°C. Ideally suited for plastic substrates. Caution with galvanized surfaces, not recommended for anodized aluminium.
The Kip 3319 Protective tapes Premium is ideal for masking plastering, stucco work and building protection work both indoors and outdoors. Kip Protective tapes are an excellent aid for masking indoors and outdoors. They are made of PVC or PE. PVC is resistant to water, acids, alkalis, alcohol, oils, petrol and salt water and is hardly affected by sunlight. This makes it dimensionally stable when exposed to temperature - ideal for masking straight edges. PE, on the other hand, is milky white, elastic and resistant to water, solvents, acids and low temperatures. It therefore retains its shape even at high or very low temperatures. Thanks to the high-quality release liner, the tape is easy to unroll and does not warp. This makes it possible to mask straight edges. Kip PE Protective tapes are particularly suitable for plastic substrates. When used on weathered surfaces, however, it should be tested beforehand. KIP PVC Protective tapes are also available in premium quality. Smooth film in standard quality with rubber adhesive is ideal for the professional protection of smooth surfaces such as wood (painted/primed), aluminum or glass. However, care should be taken when using it on weathered PVC surfaces. The tape can withstand temperatures of up to 80 °C.
