Kip Protective tapes are the ideal solution for masking plaster and building protection work indoors and outdoors. They consist of a PVC or PE carrier, whereby the properties of the material influence the character of the tapes. PVC is resistant to water, acid, alcohol, oil and salt water, which means it retains its shape even under temperature changes. PE is milky white and elastic, insensitive to water, solvents, acids and low temperatures. It is easy to unroll without warping and is therefore well suited for masking straight edges. For weathered plastic substrates, we recommend carrying out adhesion tests beforehand and proceeding with caution. The Kip PVC Protective tapes are of premium quality: they are made of smooth PVC with rubber adhesive made of resistant soft film – ideal for smooth surfaces such as wood (painted or primed), aluminum and glass. It remains stable even at temperatures of up to 40°C.
