Kip Cloth tapes consist of a cloth and a PE plastic coating. Despite their extremely high stability, they are easy to tear off by hand, waterproof, oil-resistant, mechanically resilient and resistant to many chemical influences. This universally applicable tape is ideal for indoor and outdoor masking work, sandblasting and repair work, waterproof sealing of containers, asbestos disposal or secure packing of transport goods. The influence of the cloth used on the mechanical properties is determined by the mesh specification (number of threads per square inch). The material and the thickness of the threads also play an important role. The plastering tape is specially designed for plasterers: It consists of a 32 mesh cloth with rubber adhesive and comes off without leaving any residue after up to 2 weeks. It is also UV and moisture resistant. However, it should be applied carefully to painted surfaces. The tape can withstand temperatures of up to 60°C.
