Kip Cloth tapes are a universal helper for many areas. They consist of cloth and a PE plastic coating and are easy to tear off by hand, water and oil resistant and resistant to mechanical damage and chemical influences. Ideal for indoor or outdoor masking work, sandblasting, repairs, asbestos removal or sealing containers. The mesh specification shows how many fabric threads are contained per square inch (1 inch = 2.54 cm) in the longitudinal and transverse direction. This influences the hand tearability and Tensile strength of the tape. The fabric material used and the thickness of the threads also play a major role in the quality of the product. Our basic Cloth tape is 32 mesh thick with hotmelt adhesive and PE lamination. This makes it water-repellent and therefore suitable for simple work such as masking or repairs – but only at temperatures up to 75°C. It should only be used very carefully on painted surfaces.
