Kip Cloth tapes are ideal for long-term indoor and outdoor use, e.g. for plastering, stuccoing and building protection work. The adhesive tape consists of a finely woven cloth and a PE plastic coating, making it both stable and easy to tear off by hand. In addition, all Kip Duct tapes have a UV filter, which increases the tape’s outdoor durability. The mechanical properties of the tape are influenced by the mesh specification – i.e. how many fabric threads are present per square inch (1 inch = 2.54 cm) in the longitudinal and transverse direction, as well as by the material used and the thread thickness. Our basic fabric tape consists of 32 mesh with hotmelt adhesive. It is water-repellent thanks to the PE lamination and Temperature resistant up to 75 °C – ideal for masking or repair work on uncoated surfaces.
