Kip Cloth tapes are universally applicable adhesive tapes that are suitable for long-term use in plastering, stuccoing and building protection work, both indoors and outdoors. They consist of a very fine cloth and a PE plastic coating. Thanks to the fine cloth, the tapes are very stable, but can still be easily torn off by hand. In addition, all Kip Duct tapes have a UV filter, which increases their service life outdoors. The mechanical properties of the tape, such as hand-tearability or Tensile strength, depend on the cloth used and the thickness of the threads – measured in mesh per square inch (1 inch = 2.54 cm). The concrete and masonry tape is specially designed for rough surfaces: It consists of 32 mesh fabric structure with rubber adhesive as well as PE lamination for water repellency. As a result, it has good initial adhesion, is UV-resistant and can be used at low temperatures (-55 °C to 65 °C). Ideal for covering stone, concrete or sandblasting repairs!
