Kip Cloth tapes are universally applicable adhesive tapes that are used both indoors and outdoors for long-term use in plastering, stuccoing and building protection work. Like Kip Cloth tapes, they consist of a cloth and a PE plastic coating. The cloth is very finely woven and therefore very stable, but can still be easily torn off by hand. All Kip Cloth tapes are equipped with a UV filter, which extends their service life outdoors. The mesh specification shows how many fabric threads are present per square inch (1 inch = 2.54 cm) in the longitudinal and transverse direction. The material used and the thread count also play a decisive role in the mechanical properties of the tape, such as hand tearability or Tensile strength. Fineline tape is a particularly thin and supple tape with an integrated UV filter on PE-laminated polyester fabric. It is easy to unroll and tear off. It is ideal for masking sharp edges when painting, plastering or rendering on both smooth and slightly rough surfaces such as stone. Multiple coatings are also possible with the tape. It is resistant to temperatures of up to 60 °C.
