WASHI TEC is the further development of our Washi adhesive tapes. These are very thin, supple and at the same time extremely tear-resistant and stable. As a result, they can be applied precisely to smooth and slightly textured surfaces, which prevents paint bleeding and enables extremely sharp paint edges. With this series, Kip ensures that quality is maintained in the professional painting trade. The structure of the tapes differs primarily in terms of material quality and adhesion: Washi TEC has a particularly high adhesive strength, allowing the adhesive to connect optimally with the substrate. It is easy to remove without leaving any residue, is UV-resistant and can withstand high temperatures. The Kelber used is also of very high quality: additives and monomers were mixed in during polymerization to optimize the durability and UV resistance of the adhesive – making Washi TEC particularly resistant. This tape is our best product for sharp lines: The thin paper with acrylic adhesive prevents paint from running under glazes, shows good adhesion as well as Tensile. It is easy to unroll and is ideal for sharp edges on smooth or slightly rough surfaces. The tape is Temperature resistant up to 120°C!
