Kip has developed Washi TEC – a new series of adhesive tapes that are particularly thin, supple and at the same time tear-resistant and stable. They enable precise application on smooth and lightly textured surfaces and the achievement of extremely sharp colored edges. The tapes have a unique adhesive strength, can be removed easily without leaving any residue and are UV and high temperature resistant. The structure of the tapes has been optimized in terms of material quality and adhesion. Additives and monomers are mixed in during polymerization to ensure the adhesive’s durability and UV resistance. The Washi Tec Masker has been specially designed for sharp lines. It consists of Washi Tec adhesive tape with a PE film that clings perfectly to the substrate due to its static charge. This allows surfaces to be covered or masked and sharp edges to be taped in a single step. The Masker can be used on almost all indoor and outdoor surfaces.
