Includes a starting tab for easy installation.

Kip 230 Barrier-Tape is a single-sided adhesive roof lining tape specifically designed for the permanent, airtight sealing of vapor barriers in accordance with DIN 4108-11. It consists of a reinforced, highly flexible HDPE film that is further strengthened by a woven fabric. This construction gives the tape very high adhesive strength on a wide variety of substrates, even at low temperatures, thanks to its thick pressure-sensitive adhesive coating. The Kip 230 Barrier-Tape also stands out for its ability to adhere reliably even to slightly damp surfaces (e.g., condensation moisture). It is UV-stable for 6 months, extremely resistant to aging, and features a practical starting tab for easy application around penetrations such as pipes, chimneys, rafters, and windows at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.
