They are made of a fine cloth that is very stable but can be torn off by hand. All Kip Duct tapes are equipped with a UV filter, which extends their service life outdoors. The mesh specification indicates how many threads there are per square inch (2.54 cm) in the longitudinal and transverse direction. The material used and the thickness of the threads also play a role here. The concrete and masonry tape has been specially developed for rough surfaces: It consists of 32 mesh cloth with rubber adhesive as well as PE lamination for water repellency and has good initial adhesive strength. It is also UV and temperature resistant between -55\u00b0C and 65\u00b0C.
