Kip Duct tapes are universally applicable tapes for long-term use in indoor and outdoor areas such as plastering, stucco work and building protection. Similar to the Kip Cloth tapes, these consist of a very finely woven cloth and a PE plastic coating that is both stable and easy to tear off by hand. All Kip Cloth tapes are also provided with a UV filter, which extends their service life in outdoor use. The mechanical properties of the tape depend, among other things, on the mesh specification, i.e. the ratio of mesh threads per square inch (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Other quality criteria are the material used and the thickness of the threads. Our standard UV Duct tape is particularly tear-resistant and therefore ideal for cover and masking work outdoors: It consists of 59 mesh with natural rubber adhesive, is PE-laminated, UV-resistant as well as very robust.
